Busan in 3 Days: A Stroller-Friendly Itinerary
· 7 min read
Three unhurried days in Busan for families: Gamcheon, Haeundae, Jagalchi and Gijang, with accessible routes, rest stops and where to skip the stairs.
Day 1: Colour and coast
Start at Gamcheon Culture Village early, and enter from the upper car park so the whole walk runs downhill — this single choice turns a hard stop into an easy one for strollers and grandparents.
Afternoon at Haeundae with a flat boardwalk, plenty of shade and cafés with high chairs.
Day 2: Market food and temples
Jagalchi Fish Market is best before 11:00. A guide who orders for you makes the difference between a stressful stop and the highlight of the trip.
Haedong Yonggungsa temple by the sea is beautiful but has 108 steps. Families with a stroller or a knee replacement in the group should choose Beomeosa instead, which has a flat approach.
Day 3: Gijang and slow time
Head north to Gijang for the coastal cafés and the Anchovy village, or spend a slow morning at Songdo Cable Car, which is fully wheelchair accessible.
Leave the afternoon open. Three-generation trips work when there is room to do nothing.
