Walk through the world of Mr. Sunshine in Nonsan, where early-1900s Hanseong is reimagined in a purpose-built drama set. This private day trip from Seoul pairs screen memories with the Korean Empire’s changing streets, architecture and independence history. Slow down for vintage-style photographs, exhibitions and a lunch break: a filming-location visit, not an actor meeting or a live-filming experience.
Multilingual tour guide available upon request, in your preferred language, subject to availability and an additional fee.

Your day, hour by hour
- Morning
Seoul hotel pickup and the road to Nonsan
Meet your driver at your agreed Seoul hotel. Allow around 2.5–3 hours each way as a planning estimate, with a rest stop when needed. Traffic may extend the journey; departure and return times are confirmed with your quotation.
- Main visit

Glory Hotel and the streets of Mr. Sunshine
Allow about two hours for Sunshine Studio. Follow the recreated Jongno streets past Glory Hotel, the Hanseong tram and Daehanmun gate. Explore permitted exhibitions and connect the drama’s setting with the Korean Empire’s modernization and independence history. A specialist guide is optional and separately quoted.
- Photo walk
Your own vintage portrait chapter
Pause for personal photographs among tiled roofs, shopfronts and period architecture. Bring a favourite outfit or ask about period costume rental in advance; rentals, professional photography and commercial filming permits are not included. Access to interiors and exhibitions varies.
- Lunch
A relaxed Nonsan lunch and café break
Choose a suitable restaurant with us before travel. Vegetarian, halal-friendly, allergy and other dietary requests need restaurant-level confirmation; certification is not guaranteed. Meals and drinks are separate. Café stops depend on opening hours.
- Optional
1950 Studio: a different chapter of Korea
If opening conditions and time allow, enjoy a short walk through the free 1950 Studio at neighbouring Sunshine Land. This is a separate setting, not the paid Mr. Sunshine studio. Filming may restrict entry. Military activities, strawberry experiences and Buyeo visits are not part of this standard day.
- Return
Return to your Seoul hotel
Relax on the journey back to your agreed hotel. We keep the day focused on the main filming location rather than adding several distant attractions. Traffic and confirmed visiting hours determine your return time.
