What to expect
- Wide reed beds, tidal channels and seasonal birdlife at Siheung Gaetgol Eco Park
- A gentle climb to the park's spiral observatory for views across the wetlands
- Hands-on salt-field experience when the seasonal programme is operating
- Local seafood kalguksu prepared with shellfish and octopus
- Oido's red lighthouse, coastal promenade and sunset over the Yellow Sea
Your tour, your way — adjusted to your requests
The itinerary on this page is only a starting point. On request, we adjust every tour to the way you want to travel: swap stops, change the timing, skip a place or add a detour. Tell us what your family wants to see, and we'll rebuild the schedule around it — at no extra planning cost.
Your day, hour by hour
- 09:00

Seoul hotel pickup & drive to Siheung
Meet your driver at your hotel and travel west in a private van. The start time and first walking distance can be adjusted around your family and the day's tide and weather.
- 10:15

Gaetgol Eco Park wetland walk
Follow a comfortable waterside path through one of Korea's rare inland tidal channels. Look for crabs, mudflat plants and migratory birds while enjoying the broad, quiet landscape.
- 11:00

Spiral observatory & reed fields
Walk through tall green reeds to the wooden spiral lookout. Guests may climb for a panoramic view or enjoy the level path and shaded rest areas below.
- 11:45

Traditional salt-field experience
Learn how seawater becomes mineral-rich sea salt and, when the seasonal programme is available, step into the salt pans for a family-friendly hands-on activity. An alternative nature stop is arranged outside operating dates.
- 13:00

Oido seafood kalguksu lunch
Sit down for the coast's comforting noodle soup with fresh shellfish and octopus. Non-seafood dishes and a milder children's meal can be requested in advance.
- 14:45

Oido Red Lighthouse promenade
Stroll along Oido's lively waterfront to its landmark red lighthouse, with cafés, sea views and plenty of relaxed family photo stops along the flat promenade.
- 16:15

Tree of Life observatory
Continue along the boardwalk to Oido's illuminated Tree of Life sculpture. The visit is timed later in the day so the lights begin to glow as the sky changes colour.
- 17:30

Yellow Sea sunset & return to Seoul
Enjoy a final coastal stop before returning to Seoul by around 19:00 to complete the 10-hour day. Sunset viewing depends on the season; stops may be adjusted to allow return travel time.
