Seoul hotel pickup & drive to Yongin
Meet your driver at your Seoul hotel and head south in a private van. Departure time is adjusted to your family's rhythm, and a comfort stop can be added on the way.

Korean Folk Village
Spend the morning in a living Joseon-era village: thatched farmhouses and the homes of yangban nobles, craft workshops, a traditional market street and, depending on the day, farmer's music, tightrope walking or equestrian performances. Children love the hands-on corners; adults enjoy the architecture and seasonal scenery.

Lunch at the folk village
Eat inside the village where Joseon-era specialities are still made — from bindaetteok pancakes to green-tea desserts — or ask us to arrange a quieter restaurant nearby. Dietary preferences can be discussed before the tour.

Hwaseong Fortress — Jangnyemun Gate
Arrive in Suwon and begin at Jangnyemun, the great northern gate of the UNESCO-listed fortress. Watch the archer's platform and the sweeping stone walls beneath one of the finest examples of 18th-century military architecture in Korea.

Wall walk & Dongbuk Gangnu pavilion
Follow the fortress wall along its curved ramparts to the Dongbuk Gangnu and its arrow-shaped observation posts, with the lotus pond and the city skyline beyond. The route is gentle and can be shortened or swapped for a driver-led detour for anyone who prefers not to climb.

Optional Flying Suwon balloon ride
Beside the fortress, a tethered helium balloon rises above the walls for a bird's-eye view of the whole World Heritage site — the most memorable photo of the day. Rides run in calm weather and tickets are paid on site; your driver waits while you fly.

Historic hanok café street
Wander the café lanes just outside the fortress, where renovated hanok and wooden houses now hold coffee roasters and dessert shops. Settle onto a rooftop with tea and watch the fortress walls catch the evening light.

Fortress at dusk
Return to the walls as the lanterns come on. Seonam Ammun and the water gate glow under floodlights, and the pavilion courtyard fills with locals enjoying the evening — a quieter, warmer side of the fortress than the daytime crowds.

Tongdak Geori fried chicken street & return to Seoul
Finish at Suwon's famous fried chicken street, where the original whole-chicken houses have drawn queues for decades. Pick up dinner to eat in the car or take home, then relax on the drive back to your Seoul hotel — arrival is usually around 21:00, depending on traffic.
